Hi Clarky, cool question! We have a very ancient stress response, one that works just like a zebra’s, or fox’s, or dolphin’s. What I mean by that is that no matter what causes us stress, like embarrassment, our body reacts the way it needed to millions of years ago. And the way it needed to react was to activate quick energy, increase our circulation, and increase our awareness. Because the stress response was originally designed to help us do things like run away from predators!
