  Hmm, that’s a hard question. I would probably say four people. The first was my high school biology teacher Mr. Cabral, who helped me fall in love with biology. Then Prof. Irven Devore in college, who made me believe that women could and should study biological anthropology. Then Profs. Susan Lipson and Peter Ellison, who were the people who introduced me to the field of reproductive ecology, the one that I study today.
  
  Maybe I can influence you to study the human body, too! I think it’s one of the most interesting systems out there… and so complicated that you’ll never run out of things to learn!
