If I weren’t a scientist, I would either be a full-time writer (fiction and science) or a midwife. I have also dreamed of being a yoga instructor, a bed and breakfast owner, a gluten free bakery owner, and a lazy bum. 🙂

I would love to do science communication or public engagement! So basically getting people interacting and interested in science. Like this website is a very good example of science communication in action!

Do you think I would be good at communication science? For example are there any of your questions that I could have explained better or answered in a more interesting way?

@miamimi I’ve only been involved in science again for the past 4 years, so being a scientist is all I want to be right now!

I used to work in the music business though doing international marketing and promotions. I had some really fun times, especially travelling with bands to places like Japan, but mostly it involved working r-e-a-l-l-y long hours, not having any time to myself, and having to deal with the tedium of business. As crazy as it sounds, I’m having far more fun working in science! (True, that!)
