      Hi

A polygon is simply a closed geometric figure (of 2 dimensions) with a finite number of sides, like a rectangle, or a triangle, or a an octagon. In general, the sides do not need to be the same length….not much of a fun explanation. So let me suggest one which is a bit more interesting.

      What is a polyhedron?
It is basically the same as a polygon, just that instead of being a 2-dimensional object, this one is 3-D (or more). Instead of a finite number of sides, it has a finite number of faces, like a cube or a pyramid.

This is nicer because you can make videos like this

Read the text, but i reckon it won’t tell you much. So what it is, is what scientist at the Albert Einstein Institute thing spacetime looks like at the very very small scale, way smaller than an atom.
