Question: What hppens to the brain during a stroke?

when you have a stroke there its a lack of blood to part of the brain. So some brain cells die and others become in danger of dying. Then the brain becomes inflamed. So it can swell, brain cells get over activated and white blood cells can come into the brain. All this is due to your body over reacting to the situation and causing more damage. In my research hopefully we can reduce this response and limit the brain damage after a stroke.
