@libbiehooton When I said that no two days are the same, this means that the scientific activities which fill my week are very varied.

For example, this week has been my first week working at Montserrat Volcano Observatory in the Caribbean. On Tuesday I went with the volcanologists to go do some maintenance on the equipment. On Wednesday I got to take a helicopter flight and helped one of the volcanologist with some outdoors work looking for clues as to which way ash flows had gone during the last eruption on Soufriere Hills volcano last year. On Thursday I worked in the rock lab looking at volcanic ash. And yesterday (Friday) I looked at some satellite images of the volcano to look for eruption features. So every day I’ve been doing something different, which makes life really interesting 🙂
