  well meteorites hit us all the time! tiny ones. thats what shooting stars are!
  
  I guess you mean a massive one though- I wouldn’t worry about this just now. But I guess if a big one hit we could have a tidal wave or a giant dust cloud.
  
  We can detect things in space very far away and the sky is clear so I wouldn’t worry about it!
