• Question: i have a lump on my knee with a red dot in the middle and it is very itchy do you know what this may be ?

      I think we’ll start with the safest guess, which is a bug bite. But hey, none of us have medical degrees, you should probably see a doctor if you’re worried! 🙂

      Kate is definitely right we are not medical doctors. But I can tell you that it is red, painful, hot and swollen because of your immune system reacting to something in its normal helpful way but causing inflammation ~(as those are some of the classic signs of inflammation)! 😀

      Unlike what happens in my research your body’s immune system is probably solving the situation as we speak, but like Kate says if you are worried and if it doesnt go away maybe get it checked out.

      @chloelou98 If you still have this lump on your knee after a few days or if it hasn’t reduced in size, then you should definitely go see either a doctor and/or a pharmacist at your local chemist. They’re medically trained. We’re not.
