Sorry I have taken a little while to answer your question but you have really got me thinking. As I never really considered how I would have to get people to look at the programme… I got carried away with what I would have as the content and the message I want to get across. Maybe this is something you could help me out with? If I had a message that I wanted to get across to students your age what would be the best way of getting your attention and getting my point across??
All day I have been thinking about whether a video or a interactive game or a quiz or an animation would be the best medium to get my message across. What do you think?
Also should it be something that I show a class while I am visiting their school to give a talk or is it something that should be available online so students can access i when they want?
I am just trying not to get excited though in case I don’t win, although I could always keep my idea on the back burner until I convince someone to fund it.
Anyway I would really appreciate your ideas and opinions.
i think you should talk about it to children in schools so they are more aware of it! and you should put a game online and questionares and things so people could access it online! 🙂 maybe you could even make an advert and put it tv too, and tell people about the website on it. x
Thank you! Those are brilliant ideas. It is always great to get students opinions as I know I am not that old and I love to think I can still think like a teenager, but I want to get my message across in the best way for maximum impact! I was actually looking at some simple science 1 mintue video clips yesterday which were like adverts for big issues. They didnt try and tell you the science, but just alert you about the problem and then it would get you interested in the solution. So I could do an advert like that online too to go with a game/questionaire etc!
