• Question: how often does a volcano erupt in europe???

      @em210198 Stromboli volcano just off the coast of Italy erupts approximately every 2 hours. Etna volcano (also in Italy) seems to erupt every year, and the volcanoes on Iceland are fairly active because there is a constant new supply of magma there.

      Did you know that Edinburgh and the Lake District were sites of volcanic eruptions in the UK? This was several millions of years ago though and these volcanoes are now extinct.
