• Question: how much sperm can go in to a female join sex?

      well if you mean how many sperm enter the female during human intercourse I believe it is 100’s of millions. But it depends on a lot of different factors. Such as age and health. It only takes one sperm though so most will be killed. I assume the number will vary from species to species but I don’t know much about this.

      I watched a programme lately on the struggle sperm have to win the race to fertilise an egg. It was amazing. There are loads of traps and obstacles for the sperm to overcome to make sure only the fittest sperm makes a baby. So it is like Indiana and the temple of doom!!

      I’m not totally sure what you mean by the question. Do you mean how many happen each time a male ejaculates, it depends on the species. If you mean how many does it take to fertilize an egg, usually just one. Feel free to comment on this question to clarify things so I can answer you better!
