• Question: can you please grow me some crystals and send them to me though school Swindon Academy?

      Hi, well I think you might be dissapointed with them. They are so tiny they either look like very fine powder or are so small you cannot see them at all. Safety might be a problem. The main stuff I grow has a nasty element in it – tellurium.
      If you touch tellurium then your breath smells very very strongly of garlic; then your fingernails turn black. Then you die I think. So I can’t send that.

      But I tell you what I will find out if there is anything I can send down. Some small bismuth crystals maybe- I have some of them with me right now. But I wouldn’t be too hopefull- safety first! I’ll get some photos up soon. Not in the lab today.
