Thats a very good question!
A large study with lots of research labs working together found that there were ten things that seemed to be risk factors for stroke.
– High blood pressure
– High fat diet
– Binge drinking
– High blood cholesterol
– Stress / Depression
– Lack of exercise
– Heart disease
Therefore some simple lifestyle choices could help reduce the risk of getting a stroke!

If you won and made a programme, would you include all of the risk factors or would you pick just a few that seem the most important?! 😀

Thats a very good question! Well I think I would definitely include all of them, as I think it is important for people to know. Then I might concentrate on the ones that we can change relatively easily with some lifestyle changes, for example I think it is much easier for people to increase the amount of exercise they are doing rather than trying to deal with stress and depression. What do you think?
How is a stroke related to the immune system and inflammation?
What hppens to the brain during a stroke?
How long does it take to recover from a stroke?
